Through this documentary, Emmanuelle Béart wishes to lift the veil on incest.

Joining forces with director Anastasia Mikova, Béart confronts her own painful past while amplifying the voices of other survivors. A victim of incest in her youth, her goal is to create a film able to break the silence about the ravages of incest over time, and document the victims’ courageous struggle against societal indifference, legal obstacles, and the enduring trauma. This project hopes to pave the way towards more empowerment, healing, and justice.
